COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT + CAPITAL PLANNING
ENGAGING COMMUNITIES OF ALL SIZES
Hollis + Miller has been involved in many school district bond issues and several capital campaigns since our founding in 1950, varying in size from districts and schools with 400 students to 28,000 students. Over 90% of these campaigns have passed on the first ballot.
Our Community Engagement Model is unique to Hollis + Miller and is the important foundation of a successful bond issue or capital campaign. We believe it’s crucial to engage key stakeholders in the earliest stages of visioning. Then take them with us through the master plan and budgeting phases, building momentum toward the potential bond or capital campaign.
This process gives community members the opportunity to voice their concerns and contribute their ideas, encouraging them to gain ownership of the outcome.
