Celebrating Colorado’s First Military Academy

The Ribbon Cutting

It’s always a joy to experience the ribbon cutting for the opening of a new facility. The mood was especially great for the Colorado Military Academy.  With more than 90 percent of the teaching faculty being retired military veterans or with affiliations to the military, the state of Colorado’s first military charter school is heavily focusing on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) and has an emphasis on developing future leaders through leadership and integrity.

The Academy is the 2nd largest first-year enrollment for a new charter school in Colorado state history.
